Kaika Labs（以下「当方」）は、当方が提供するアプリ「年末調整チェック」（以下「本アプリ」）における利用者の情報の取り扱いについて、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」）を定めます。本アプリは、会社員・パート／アルバイトの方が年末調整に必要な書類（何を出すか、控除証明書が届いたか、再発行の連絡先、会社の提出期限、控えの写真など）の準備状況を管理するためのアプリです。税額の計算や申告書類の記入は行いません。国・税務署などの公的機関のアプリではありません。
本アプリで利用者が入力・設定する情報（状況についての質問への回答〈生命保険に加入している、住宅ローン控除の入居年など、「はい／いいえ」の項目〉、書類の一覧とその状態、メモ〈自由記述〉、会社の提出期限の日付、通知のオン／オフの設定など）は、利用者の端末内（Room／DataStore）にのみ保存されます。これらのデータが当方のサーバーに送信・収集されることはありません。当方はサーバーを運営しておらず、アカウント登録やログインもありません。また、当方独自の解析（アナリティクス）SDKも組み込んでいません。
メモには証券番号や金額などを書かないでください。本アプリ内でも、メモ欄に証券番号・契約番号・金額などの個人情報を入力しないようご案内しています。
Android の自動バックアップ：機種変更で入力内容が失われないよう、本アプリは Android 標準の自動バックアップに対応しています。端末の設定でバックアップが有効になっている場合、一覧・状態・メモ・設定は、Google の仕組みにより利用者自身の Google アカウントへ保存され、新しい端末へ復元されることがあります。このバックアップは Google が提供する機能であり、当方がその内容を閲覧・取得することはありません。バックアップは端末の設定からいつでも無効にできます。なお、後述の写真はバックアップの対象外です。
一方、本アプリは広告を表示するため、後述の広告配信事業者（Google AdMob）の SDK（Google Mobile Ads SDK）が、広告の配信・最適化・効果測定・不正防止などの目的で、IPアドレス（おおよその位置の推定に使われることがあります）、アプリの操作（広告の表示やタップなど）、診断情報（クラッシュ・パフォーマンスなど）、端末ID（広告識別子〈広告ID〉など）を取得し、Google に送信・共有することがあります。利用者が入力した状況の回答・書類の一覧・状態・メモ・写真などの情報が広告配信事業者に渡されることはありません。
利用者は、控除証明書などの控えとして、書類に写真を添付できます。写真は Android のフォトピッカーから利用者自身が選んだものだけを取り込みます。そのため、カメラやストレージ（写真・メディア）へのアクセス許可は必要ありません。
本アプリは、会社の提出期限の 14日前・7日前・前日の午前9時、および 10月15日 に、端末内でリマインド通知を行います。通知は Android の WorkManager を使って端末内で予約・表示されるもので、当方のプッシュ通知サーバーは使用していません。Android 13 以降では、通知を表示するために利用者の許可（通知の許可）が必要です。許可しない場合でも、通知以外の機能は利用できます。通知は設定画面からいつでもオフにできます。
本アプリは、広告配信のために Google が提供する Google AdMob（Google Mobile Ads SDK）を利用し、バナー広告とインタースティシャル（全画面）広告を表示します。Google による情報の取得・利用については、以下をご確認ください。
欧州経済領域（EEA）、英国、スイスの利用者に対しては、Google の User Messaging Platform（UMP）を用いて、広告に関する同意を取得します。利用者は表示される同意フォームを通じて、データ利用への同意・拒否を選べます。また、本アプリの設定画面の「広告のプライバシー設定」から、いつでも選択を見直し・変更することができます（このメニューは、同意の取得が必要な地域の利用者にのみ表示されます）。また、端末の設定から広告IDのリセットや広告のカスタマイズの無効化を行うこともできます。
本アプリは、広告を非表示にする買い切り型のアプリ内購入（「広告を非表示にする」）を Google Play Billing で提供しています。定期購入（サブスクリプション）ではありません。決済は Google Play が処理し、当方がクレジットカード番号などの決済情報を取得することはありません。購入状態は利用者の Google Play アカウントに紐づいて管理され、設定画面の「購入の復元」から、機種変更や再インストール後も復元できます。
当方は、利用者が本アプリに入力したデータ（状況の回答・書類の一覧と状態・メモ・日付・写真等）を収集・共有・販売することはありません。これらのデータは端末内に保存され、利用者の管理下にあります。広告に関する情報のみ、上記のとおり広告配信事業者である Google の SDK を通じて取り扱われ、Google が同社のポリシーに基づいて取り扱います。
本アプリで入力したデータは、利用者の端末内にのみ保存されます。当方はこれらのデータを保有していないため、当方に削除を依頼いただく必要はなく、利用者は、いつでも次のいずれかの方法でこれらのデータを削除できます。
保持期間：上記のデータは、利用者が上記の方法で削除するまで端末内（およびバックアップが有効な場合は一覧・状態・メモ・設定のみ利用者の Google アカウント）に保持されます。自動的な保持期限はなく、当方のサーバーには保存されません。
広告に関する情報（広告ID等）は、Google が同社のポリシーに基づいて取り扱い・保持します。利用者は端末の設定から広告IDのリセットや削除を行うことができます。アプリ内購入の記録は Google Play アカウントに紐づいて管理されます。
データの削除に関するお問い合わせは、本ポリシー末尾の連絡先までご連絡ください。
本アプリは 18 歳以上の方を対象としており、お子様（13歳未満の児童を含む）を対象としていません。13歳未満の児童から意図的に個人情報を取得することはありません。
当方は、利用者の情報を適切に取り扱うよう努めます。本アプリのデータは端末内にのみ保存され、当方のサーバーには送信されません。ただし、端末自体の管理（画面ロックの設定等）は利用者ご自身でお願いいたします。
当方は、必要に応じて本ポリシーを変更することがあります。変更後の内容は、本ページに掲載した時点から効力を生じるものとします。

Kaika Labs ("we", "us", or "our") provides the application "Nencho Check" (年末調整チェック, the "App"), which helps employees and part-time workers in Japan keep track of the documents needed for the year-end tax adjustment (年末調整): which documents to submit, whether deduction certificates have arrived, whom to contact for re-issuance, the company's submission deadline, and photo copies of documents. The App does not calculate taxes and does not fill in any forms. It is not an app of the National Tax Agency or of any other government body. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the App.
The information you enter or configure in the App — such as your answers to the situation questions (yes/no items such as having life insurance or the year you moved into a home with a housing loan), the document list and each document's status, memos (free text), the company's submission deadline date, and the notification on/off setting — is stored only on your device (in Room / DataStore). This data is not transmitted to or collected by our servers. We do not operate any servers, and the App has no account registration or sign-in. We also do not embed any analytics SDK of our own.
Please do not write policy numbers or amounts in memos. The App also tells users not to enter personal information such as policy numbers, contract numbers, or amounts in the memo field.
Android Auto Backup: so that what you entered is not lost when you change devices, the App supports Android's standard automatic backup. If backup is enabled in your device settings, the lists, statuses, memos, and settings may be saved to your own Google Account by Google's backup service and restored to a new device. This backup is a feature provided by Google; we never view or receive its contents. You can turn off backup at any time in your device settings. Note that the photos described below are excluded from backup.
However, because the App displays advertisements, the SDK of our advertising provider (Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK) may collect and send or share with Google the IP address (which may be used to estimate approximate location), app interactions (such as ad views or taps), diagnostics (such as crash and performance data), and device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), for purposes including serving, optimizing, and measuring ads and preventing fraud. Your answers, document lists, statuses, memos, and photos are never shared with the advertising provider.
You can attach photos to a document as copies of certificates and similar papers. Only the photos you choose yourself are imported, through the Android Photo Picker. Therefore, the App does not need camera or storage (photos/media) permission.
The App shows local reminder notifications 14 days, 7 days, and 1 day before the company's submission deadline at 9:00 a.m., and on October 15. These notifications are scheduled and shown on your device using Android's WorkManager; we do not use any push notification server. On Android 13 and later, your permission (the notification permission) is required to show notifications. If you do not grant it, all features other than notifications remain available. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App's settings.
The App uses Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK), provided by Google, to deliver banner and interstitial (full-screen) advertisements. For how Google collects and uses information, please see:
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we obtain consent regarding advertising using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Through the displayed consent form, users may grant or decline consent. You can also review or change your choices at any time from "Ad privacy settings" (広告のプライバシー設定) in the App's settings screen (this menu is shown only to users in regions where consent is required). You can also reset or disable your advertising ID in your Android device settings.
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads", 「広告を非表示にする」) that removes advertisements, processed through Google Play Billing. It is not a subscription. Payments are processed by Google Play, and we never receive your payment details such as credit card numbers. Your purchase is tied to your Google Play account and can be restored after reinstalling or changing devices from "Restore purchases" in the settings screen.
We do not collect, share, or sell the data you enter in the App (such as your answers, document lists and statuses, memos, dates, or photos). This data is stored on your device and remains under your control. Only advertising-related information is handled, as described above, through the SDK of our advertising provider Google, in accordance with Google's own policies.
Data you enter in the App is stored only on your device. Because we do not hold this data, you do not need to ask us to delete it; you can delete it yourself at any time using any of the following methods:
Retention period: the data above is retained on your device (and, if backup is enabled, only the lists, statuses, memos, and settings in your Google Account) until you delete it using the methods above. There is no automatic retention period, and it is not stored on our servers.
Advertising-related information (such as advertising identifiers) is handled and retained by Google in accordance with its own policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device settings. In-app purchase records are managed under your Google Play account.

The App is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children, including children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We endeavor to handle your information appropriately. The App's data is stored only on your device and is not sent to our servers. However, please manage your own device security (such as setting a screen lock).
We may update this Privacy Policy as necessary. Any changes take effect when posted on this page.
