Kaika Labs（以下「当方」）は、当方が提供するアプリ「クルマの期限ノート」（以下「本アプリ」）における利用者の情報の取り扱いについて、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」）を定めます。本アプリは、自家用車の期限（車検の満了日、自動車税・軽自動車税の納期限、12か月点検、オイル交換、任意保険の満期、バッテリー・タイヤの交換時期、自由に登録した項目）を車ごとに一覧にし、近づいたら通知するアプリです。あわせて、車検の法定費用や自動車税の目安の金額を表示します。表示する金額は公的な資料から転記した目安であり、計算や納付の結果を保証するものではありません。国土交通省・都道府県・市町村などの公的機関のアプリではありません。
本アプリで利用者が入力・設定する情報（車の名前・区分・初度登録年月・排気量・車両重量・燃料・都道府県・走行距離などの車の情報、各項目の期限や前回日・周期、「済にする」で記録した実施日・金額・走行距離・メモ〈自由記述〉、通知のオン／オフと時刻の設定など）は、利用者の端末内（Room／DataStore）にのみ保存されます。これらのデータが当方のサーバーに送信・収集されることはありません。当方はサーバーを運営しておらず、アカウント登録やログインもありません。また、当方独自の解析（アナリティクス）SDKも組み込んでいません。
ナンバープレートの番号・車台番号・氏名・住所などの個人情報は入力しないでください。車の名前は「ノート」「家のタント」のような呼び名で十分です。本アプリは写真やカメラを使いません。
Android の自動バックアップ：機種変更で入力内容が失われないよう、本アプリは Android 標準の自動バックアップに対応しています。端末の設定でバックアップが有効になっている場合、車の情報・項目・履歴・設定は、Google の仕組みにより利用者自身の Google アカウントへ保存され、新しい端末へ復元されることがあります。このバックアップは Google が提供する機能であり、当方がその内容を閲覧・取得することはありません。バックアップは端末の設定からいつでも無効にできます。
一方、本アプリは広告を表示するため、後述の広告配信事業者（Google AdMob）の SDK（Google Mobile Ads SDK）が、広告の配信・最適化・効果測定・不正防止などの目的で、IPアドレス（おおよその位置の推定に使われることがあります）、アプリの操作（広告の表示やタップなど）、診断情報（クラッシュ・パフォーマンスなど）、端末ID（広告識別子〈広告ID〉など）を取得し、Google に送信・共有することがあります。利用者が入力した車の情報・期限・履歴・メモなどの情報が広告配信事業者に渡されることはありません。
利用者は、設定画面の「CSV で書き出す」から、車・項目・履歴を 1 つの CSV ファイルにまとめて、Android の共有機能で他のアプリ（ファイル管理、メール、クラウドストレージなど）に渡すことができます。この操作は利用者自身が行い、共有先も利用者が選びます。当方がそのファイルを受け取ることはありません。ファイルは本アプリ専用のキャッシュ領域に一時的に作られ、次の書き出し時またはアプリのアンインストール時に削除されます。
本アプリは、毎日 1 回、利用者が設定した時刻（初期値は午前8時）に、その日が通知日に当たる項目（例：車検の 60日前・30日前・14日前・3日前・当日・翌日、自動車税の 5月1日と納期限の 7日前・前日・翌日、任意保険の 30日前・7日前・前日、そのほかの項目の 14日前・当日）をまとめて端末内で通知します。通知は Android の WorkManager を使って端末内で予約・表示されるもので、当方のプッシュ通知サーバーは使用していません。Android 13 以降では、通知を表示するために利用者の許可（通知の許可）が必要です。許可しない場合でも、通知以外の機能は利用できます。通知は設定画面から全体でも項目ごとでもいつでもオフにできます。
各項目の詳細画面の「カレンダーに入れる」を押すと、本アプリは端末のカレンダーアプリに予定作成の画面を開くよう依頼します（Android の標準的な仕組み〈Intent〉を使います）。実際に予定を保存するかどうかは、カレンダーアプリの画面で利用者が決めます。本アプリはカレンダーへのアクセス許可を求めず、利用者のカレンダーの内容を読み取りません。
本アプリは、広告配信のために Google が提供する Google AdMob（Google Mobile Ads SDK）を利用し、バナー広告とインタースティシャル（全画面）広告を表示します。Google による情報の取得・利用については、以下をご確認ください。
欧州経済領域（EEA）、英国、スイスの利用者に対しては、Google の User Messaging Platform（UMP）を用いて、広告に関する同意を取得します。利用者は表示される同意フォームを通じて、データ利用への同意・拒否を選べます。また、本アプリの設定画面の「広告のプライバシー設定」から、いつでも選択を見直し・変更することができます（このメニューは、同意の取得が必要な地域の利用者にのみ表示されます）。また、端末の設定から広告IDのリセットや広告のカスタマイズの無効化を行うこともできます。
本アプリは、広告を非表示にする買い切り型のアプリ内購入（「広告を非表示にする」）を Google Play Billing で提供しています。定期購入（サブスクリプション）ではありません。決済は Google Play が処理し、当方がクレジットカード番号などの決済情報を取得することはありません。購入状態は利用者の Google Play アカウントに紐づいて管理され、設定画面の「購入を復元」から、機種変更や再インストール後も復元できます。
当方は、利用者が本アプリに入力したデータ（車の情報・期限・履歴・金額・メモ等）を収集・共有・販売することはありません。これらのデータは端末内に保存され、利用者の管理下にあります。広告に関する情報のみ、上記のとおり広告配信事業者である Google の SDK を通じて取り扱われ、Google が同社のポリシーに基づいて取り扱います。
本アプリで入力したデータは、利用者の端末内にのみ保存されます。当方はこれらのデータを保有していないため、当方に削除を依頼いただく必要はなく、利用者は、いつでも次のいずれかの方法でこれらのデータを削除できます。
保持期間：上記のデータは、利用者が上記の方法で削除するまで端末内（およびバックアップが有効な場合は利用者の Google アカウント）に保持されます。自動的な保持期限はなく、当方のサーバーには保存されません。
広告に関する情報（広告ID等）は、Google が同社のポリシーに基づいて取り扱い・保持します。利用者は端末の設定から広告IDのリセットや削除を行うことができます。アプリ内購入の記録は Google Play アカウントに紐づいて管理されます。

本アプリは 18 歳以上の方を対象としており、お子様（13歳未満の児童を含む）を対象としていません。13歳未満の児童から意図的に個人情報を取得することはありません。
当方は、利用者の情報を適切に取り扱うよう努めます。本アプリのデータは端末内にのみ保存され、当方のサーバーには送信されません。ただし、端末自体の管理（画面ロックの設定等）は利用者ご自身でお願いいたします。
当方は、必要に応じて本ポリシーを変更することがあります。変更後の内容は、本ページに掲載した時点から効力を生じるものとします。

Kaika Labs ("we", "us", or "our") provides the application "Kuruma Deadline Note" (クルマの期限ノート, the "App"), which lists, for each of your cars, the deadlines that apply to privately owned cars in Japan (vehicle inspection (shaken) expiry, automobile tax payment deadline, 12-month inspection, oil change, voluntary insurance renewal, battery and tire replacement timing, and items you add yourself) and notifies you when they approach. It also shows rough estimates of the statutory inspection costs and the automobile tax. The amounts shown are estimates transcribed from public sources and are not a guarantee of any calculation or payment. The App is not an app of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, of any prefecture or municipality, or of any other government body. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the App.
The information you enter or configure in the App — such as car details (a nickname, category, month of first registration, engine displacement, vehicle weight, fuel type, prefecture, odometer reading), each item's deadline, last-done date and interval, the records you save with "Mark as done" (date, amount, odometer reading, free-text memo), and the notification on/off and time settings — is stored only on your device (in Room / DataStore). This data is not transmitted to or collected by our servers. We do not operate any servers, and the App has no account registration or sign-in. We also do not embed any analytics SDK of our own.
Please do not enter personal information such as license plate numbers, chassis numbers, names, or addresses. A nickname such as "my hatchback" is enough for the car name. The App does not use photos or the camera.
Android Auto Backup: so that what you entered is not lost when you change devices, the App supports Android's standard automatic backup. If backup is enabled in your device settings, your car details, items, records, and settings may be saved to your own Google Account by Google's backup service and restored to a new device. This backup is a feature provided by Google; we never view or receive its contents. You can turn off backup at any time in your device settings.
However, because the App displays advertisements, the SDK of our advertising provider (Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK) may collect and send or share with Google the IP address (which may be used to estimate approximate location), app interactions (such as ad views or taps), diagnostics (such as crash and performance data), and device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), for purposes including serving, optimizing, and measuring ads and preventing fraud. Your car details, deadlines, records, and memos are never shared with the advertising provider.
From "Export as CSV" in the settings screen, you can combine your cars, items, and records into a single CSV file and hand it to another app (a file manager, email, cloud storage, etc.) through Android's share feature. You perform this action yourself and you choose the destination. We never receive the file. The file is created temporarily in the App's private cache and is deleted at the next export or when the App is uninstalled.
Once a day, at the time you set (8:00 a.m. by default), the App shows a single local notification summarizing the items whose notification day is today (for example, 60, 30, 14, and 3 days before, on the day of, and the day after the vehicle inspection expiry; May 1 and 7 days before, the day before, and the day after the automobile tax deadline; 30, 7, and 1 day before the voluntary insurance renewal; and 14 days before and on the day for other items). These notifications are scheduled and shown on your device using Android's WorkManager; we do not use any push notification server. On Android 13 and later, your permission (the notification permission) is required to show notifications. If you do not grant it, all features other than notifications remain available. You can turn notifications off at any time, for all items or per item, in the App's settings.
When you tap "Add to calendar" on an item's detail screen, the App asks your device's calendar app to open its event-creation screen (using Android's standard mechanism, an Intent). Whether the event is actually saved is decided by you in the calendar app. The App does not request calendar permission and does not read the contents of your calendar.
The App uses Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK), provided by Google, to deliver banner and interstitial (full-screen) advertisements. For how Google collects and uses information, please see:
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we obtain consent regarding advertising using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Through the displayed consent form, users may grant or decline consent. You can also review or change your choices at any time from "Ad privacy settings" (広告のプライバシー設定) in the App's settings screen (this menu is shown only to users in regions where consent is required). You can also reset or disable your advertising ID in your Android device settings.
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads", 「広告を非表示にする」) that removes advertisements, processed through Google Play Billing. It is not a subscription. Payments are processed by Google Play, and we never receive your payment details such as credit card numbers. Your purchase is tied to your Google Play account and can be restored after reinstalling or changing devices from "Restore purchases" in the settings screen.
We do not collect, share, or sell the data you enter in the App (such as car details, deadlines, records, amounts, or memos). This data is stored on your device and remains under your control. Only advertising-related information is handled, as described above, through the SDK of our advertising provider Google, in accordance with Google's own policies.
Data you enter in the App is stored only on your device. Because we do not hold this data, you do not need to ask us to delete it; you can delete it yourself at any time using any of the following methods:
Retention period: the data above is retained on your device (and, if backup is enabled, in your Google Account) until you delete it using the methods above. There is no automatic retention period, and it is not stored on our servers.
Advertising-related information (such as advertising identifiers) is handled and retained by Google in accordance with its own policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device settings. In-app purchase records are managed under your Google Play account.

The App is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children, including children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We endeavor to handle your information appropriately. The App's data is stored only on your device and is not sent to our servers. However, please manage your own device security (such as setting a screen lock).
We may update this Privacy Policy as necessary. Any changes take effect when posted on this page.
